Melissa Pickett is an outstanding family law attorney with significant trial experience, expertise in domestic violence cases, experience litigating highly contested custody cases and significant experience mediating family law matters. Ms. Pickett recently achieved the highest distinction by becoming board certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 2020.
Ms. Pickett is a 2001 graduate of the University of Houston, and a 2007 graduate of South Texas College of Law. She has also distinguished herself by presenting on various legal topics in the family law arena at conferences and seminars over the last decade.
Attorney Pickett has handled over one hundred and forty contested bench trials and two jury trials during her legal career and completed the National Family Law Trial Institute at South Texas College of Law in 2010.
